A Time for Everything: Finding Beauty in Every Season

There’s something both comforting and unsettling about the words in Ecclesiastes 3:1–11

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Life is a cycle of contrasts — joy and sorrow, gain and loss, growth and stillness. It can feel scary, especially when we realize we aren’t in control of those seasons. If we could choose, we’d skip right over the pain and live in endless joy. But Solomon reminds us that even when we can’t see it, God is at work in every season.

He doesn’t cause our painful moments — often, they come from our own choices, the choices of others, or the brokenness of this world. Yet even there, He is redeeming. There’s beauty hidden in every part of your story. Sometimes, it’s easy to see. Other times, it’s buried deep beneath tears, waiting to bloom in its time.

If you’re in a difficult season right now, hold on. 🌤️
It won’t last forever. Don’t rush past it or wish it away. God is still sowing something good in the soil of your waiting.

As Romans 6:23 reminds us, through Christ we have eternal life — meaning that even death and loss don’t have the final word. John 11:25–26 echoes this hope:

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

When we view life through the lens of resurrection, nothing is meaningless anymore. Every moment, every tear, every season — it all finds purpose in Him.

So today, pause and look for beauty. You might just find God’s grace quietly blooming where you least expected it. 🌸

💬 Reflection Prompt:

What season are you in right now — and how can you look for beauty in it instead of rushing to the next one?
